Our lives are busy and there’s always those days when you feel like there just aren’t enough hours in a day. And the holidays are almost upon us, so it’s about to get worse! But do you seem to stay overly worried about things left undone? If you do, you are most likely very deficient in B vitamins. Although I take Shaklee’s B-Complex on a daily basis, perhaps a few more on some days than others depending upon how busy or stressed I am. But even so, I’ve learned to listen to my body and actually stop and think about my emotions throughout the day and am usually able to detect when I’ve been slacking or using up my B vitamins as fast as I put them in there.
Do you give your child a multi-vitamin? Are you aware that many brands of multi-vitamins for children are not only offering NO health benefits for your child, but worse yet, contain ingredients, like aspartame, gmos and toxic additives, that can be detrimental to their health!
Do you have a hard time waking up in the morning?
Would you rather wake up easily, feeling refreshed and ready to start your day? We all have episodes of having a hard time waking up…usually due to a restless night’s sleep, but if you do this on a regular basis, it could very well be because your blood sugar drops too much while you’re sleeping. The way to encourage this to NOT happen is to ingest some good quality protein before going to bed.
Is your child generally unhappy, possibly crying for no reason or at the “drop of a dime”. Is he or she impatient and moody? Do you and/or your spouse come home stressed and “at your wit’s end”, causing YOU to be impatient, tired and just downright grumpy?! Can you see how this combination of emotions is just not a recipe for a “happy family”?! (more…)
